Teaser Thursday— The Judge’s Secret

Hello .

How is everyone coping with the uncertainty of the Corona virus Pandemic?

I’m self isolating for now, and rarely go out. If you have to be out and about, please stay safe.

I wish you all the very best.

What keeps you entertained when indoors or in isolation? Books? Music? Television?

For me, it depends on my mood. But I think reading helps me escape the turmoil.

Here’s a teaser from The Judges Secret. Have you read this book yet?

???

If Femi Williams realised where they’d met, would he take her to the cleaners? Or worse, go to the press?

She had no clue what or whom she was dealing with … what kind of man he was.

Iyoma dragged her palm over her face in frustration. Hopefully, she’d never come across him again. She blew out a harsh puff of air. Really, the chances of that were slim to none.

As a new judge in this district, she’d be assigned to most of the family court cases. And since Femi Williams handled human rights cases, he was bound to turn up in her courtroom at some point.

What would she do if he confronted her again? What story could she concoct to explain a possible previous encounter with him? Could she continue to deny it, or would that raise more questions?

Iyoma dragged in a heavy breath, trailing a shaky finger over her temple. Maybe she should just admit the truth, beg him to keep the secret.

He seemed like a decent fellow who wouldn’t kiss and tell, expose her most vulnerable moment—the night she’d morphed into someone else entirely.
