In this scene, Ugo feels Brenda isn’t taking him seriously. He wants more than what she’s ready to give. Will he regret turning down her sexual advances when he wants her so much?

My cheeks warm, flushing with embarrassment from the jerking of my d*ck in response to her perusal.
“Your mouth says one thing. Your body’s talking a totally different language.” She leans forward and brushes her palm up my left thigh, moving it dangerously towards my crotch. “It’ll be fun …”
I place my hand over hers and cover it, preventing its determined and tantalizing progress.
“Well, fun isn’t what I’m looking for, Brenda,” I say through clenched teeth, exasperation tightening my belly. “Not everything is a game.”
My annoyance is mostly with myself, for falling so helplessly in love with her that I’d give up gratifying my own body’s cravings, just to protect my heart from the pain of future rejection from her.
Her eyes flash at me. “Who says I’m playing?”
